June 7, 2024: A meeting was held between the Executive Committee and the Director, IBA, Punjab University in order to discuss the ways the alumni can contribute towards the attainment of goals of IBA. During the meeting, the Director, Prof Dr Muqqadas Rehman apprised the Committee about the initiatives that she has taken to improve the quality of education and prospects of the IBA students in the job market. She also discussed a lot of steps that she is taking for the welfare of the students and the staff of IBA. She mentioned about the International Business Conference, proposed funding arrangements for the Auditorium and workshops for the students. She sought the help of the EC in reaching out to the alumni for close contact for these initiatives. Mian Waqas informed the meeting about latest developments in Canada Chapter of the Association and elaborated the future changes in the SoPs of all international chapters. Talking on the occasion, the President assured the Director about continued support and assistance of all Alumni in achievement of every positive step taken by the Director.

The meeting was attended by Dr Humera, Dr Muhammad Ali, Mr. Zoraiz Lashari (President), Mr. Asif Gilani (General Secretary), Mian Waqas (Treasurer), Mr. Zain Qureshi (Joint Secretary) and other EC members. In the end, it was decided that such interaction would continue more frequently to cement the linkages between EC and the faculty of IBA.
