IBA-PU Alumni Association is relatively a new body, but it has achieved many milestones since its inception:
- Ever since 2007, the Alumni Association is organizing Annual Reunion and Annual General body meeting regularly. This function is attended by a large number of Alumni Members very enthusiastically. Alumni has also broadened the base of active members to almost 5,000.
- Today, the Association has presence on multiple social media including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Lecture series has also become a regular feature, both for alumni and students. Professionals from various walks of life have been invited to provide information. One of the famous national mentor Mr Qasim Ali Shah visited IBA, PU during year 2019.
- Annual Magazine is also published regularly aligned in time with the Annual Reunion.
- A quarterly Newsletter is circulated in January, March, July and October.
- Excellence Awards are announced annually for IBA students achieving extraordinary achievement in their academics and other co-curricular activities.
- International Chapters are fully functional now with conveners appointed for Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Araba Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America.
- Batch Ambassador programme has been initiated in which one representative has been appointed from each session of MBA, MBA-Evening, BBA, BBA-afternoon, Mphil and PhD to create a better link with the Alumni.
- Own office premises has been acquired, which is now official address of the Association for all kind of correspondence and short meetings / gatherings.
- Amendments have been incorporated in Memorandum / Articles of Alumni Association incumbent to the current requirements necessary for clarification purpose i.e., To bring the legislation and practice into conformity; To facilitate smooth functioning of EC over its tenure and involve more participation at the management level; & To increase the understanding of the process and to differentiate between quorum and approval proportion, which will enhance democratic norms as well.
